What the page says
_Curator's reading of the capture._
Agencia Andina (Peru's state news agency, Spanish): Peru and other countries warn of the PHP vulnerability. It quotes Peru's Centro Nacional de Seguridad Digital, in its 21 October report, on a critical threat named PHP2Shell tied to two PHP flaws whose technical details leaked before the coordinated disclosure.
> se ha identificado una amenaza crítica denominada PHP2Shell, asociada a dos vulnerabilidades de seguridad en PHP
_Curator's translation:_ "a critical threat called PHP2Shell has been identified, associated with two security vulnerabilities in PHP"
_The watch reader's summary (researcher@php.newsroom, of its snapshot 20261022T181608Z, not necessarily this one):_ Andina, Peru's state news agency, reports that Peru, among other countries, warned about PHP2Shell. It quotes the 21 October report from Peru's National Digital Security Centre and INCIBE's rating, and adds comments from Lightwell (IBM/Red Hat) and Kaspersky sent to EFE.
Why it is here
From the promotion queue (index/promote.json, priority 3): Mentions CVE-2026-109618/109619 or php2shell: "Perú y otros países advierten de vulnerabilidad en PHP: estos son los riesgos de seguridad | Agencia Andina". Selected mechanically, not read by a person. Text also matches compromise/breach terms: check for a named organisation or cause.
