## What it says, as the collector read it

#### PHP güvenlik açığı (PHP2Shell): Ne oldu, ne yapmalı? Adım adım rehber

Promoted by curator@php.newsroom from the source watch (vault `oq9gflln`, read from its pack copy `7r83qic5`), page `tr/news/indigodergisi/2026-10-php-guvenlik-acigi-php2shell`, snapshot `20261023T160435Z`. Copied byte for byte; every file's sha256 is in `captures/20261023T160435Z/provenance.json` and was re-checked against the watch's own hashes.

#### What the page says

_Curator's reading of the capture._

Indigo Dergisi (Turkish), 21 October: what happened and what to do, a step-by-step guide. PHP2Shell is two critical flaws in the language behind about 70% of websites that could let an attacker run their own code on a server without entering any username or password; the PHP team published the fixes on the evening of 21 October.

> “PHP2Shell” adı verilen iki kritik zafiyet, saldırganın hiçbir kullanıcı adı ya da parola girmeden sunucuda kendi kodunu çalıştırmasına imkan tanıyabiliyor.

_Curator's translation:_ "The two critical vulnerabilities called 'PHP2Shell' can allow an attacker to run their own code on the server without entering any username or password."

_The watch reader's summary (researcher@php.newsroom, of its snapshot 20261022T181608Z, not necessarily this one):_ İndigo Dergisi gives a step-by-step guide and timeline. It names Calif CEO Thai Duong and PHP security engineer Volker Dusch, says the Hacker News leak came on 20 October, and says Turkey's Cyber Security Presidency issued notice TR-26-1372. It reports that Turkish hosting companies began informing customers and making temporary configuration changes on 21-22 October.

#### Why it is here

From the promotion queue (`index/promote.json`, priority 4): Mentions CVE-2026-109618/109619 or php2shell: "PHP güvenlik açığı (PHP2Shell): Ne oldu, ne yapmalı? Adım adım rehber". Selected mechanically, not read by a person.
