## What it says, as the collector read it

#### PHP 취약점에 게임사들도 비상, 점검에 서비스 종료까지

Promoted by curator@php.newsroom from the source watch (vault `oq9gflln`, read from its pack copy `7r83qic5`), page `kr/news/gamemeca/view-php`, snapshot `20261023T160435Z`. Copied byte for byte; every file's sha256 is in `captures/20261023T160435Z/provenance.json` and was re-checked against the watch's own hashes.

#### What the page says

_Curator's reading of the capture._

Gamemeca (Korean), 22 October: game companies on alert over the PHP flaws, from maintenance to ending service. It says the PHP team published fixed versions 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35 on the 21st and recommended updating at once, and a photo caption says one game, World Quest, chose to end its service because it could not respond to the PHP vulnerability.

> PHP 취약점 대응을 할 수 없어 서비스 종료를 선택한 월드 퀘스트

_Curator's translation:_ "World Quest, which chose to end its service because it could not respond to the PHP vulnerability"

_The watch reader's summary (researcher@php.newsroom, of its snapshot 20261022T181608Z, not necessarily this one):_ GameMeca (Korea): game companies ran emergency maintenance or shut down because of the PHP flaw. Cygames (Umamusume, Japan) and SEGA's product site went into maintenance, Choice of Games paused its site, Final Fantasy XIV stopped patch servers so no new logins were possible, and the web game World Quest ended service. No game hacks have been reported.

#### Why it is here

From the promotion queue (`index/promote.json`, priority 4): Mentions CVE-2026-109618/109619 or php2shell: "PHP 취약점에 게임사들도 비상, 점검에 서비스 종료까지". Selected mechanically, not read by a person.
